Setup payments with Stripe

Setup guide

Create Stripe Connect account

Via the sidebar, navigate to Integrations / Stripe Payments. Clicking "Create account" will take you to Stripe to begin setup.

Enter information in Stripe

Stripe will first request an email address for your account. If you enter an e-mail associated with an existing Stripe account, you may choose to connect the existing account or create a new one.

Stripe may require time to process information before it can proceed with finalizing your account. In this case, you will be returned to Samply and your Stripe account will be in the "Continue setup" phase.

Continue setup

If at any time Stripe requires additional information, Samply will show you a "Continue setup" button that will return you to the Stripe Portal. Multiple visits to Stripe may be required to complete setup.

Completion

Upon completion, an account summary will be displayed in place of setup prompts. This will communicate your default currency ISO code and any subscription-dependent transaction fees. The "Learn to set up a payment" links to the aforementioned Payments article. You may revisit this Integrations / Stripe payments page at any time to open your Stripe dashboard.

You may be prompted to enter further information even after completing setup. While infrequent, this may be due to changes to Stripes business requirements. We will do our best to notify you of such cases, and as always, contact us with any questions or concerns as they arise.
